I have not played the game of Destiny for a few months. Now, that I’m back in my home state, I only periodically check Bungie.net to see what Xur is offering. Funny, or not so funny, nothing has changed to much. At least, on the surface. The Armor is still 13 Strange Coins. The Legacy Engram is still expensive. And their still trying to get players to buy Plan C. I never really did. Primary Exotics were more useful to me.
It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to purchase a PS4 Destiny Bundle anytime soon, which is kind of depressing. I didn’t realize how much the Destiny community became a social environment to meet people, even though I’d never see them. Now, it simply feels like: Where has everyone gone?
To turn my frown upside down, I’m debating whether I should right another series of Episodes for Exos. Yet, I’ve been away from the game long enough to feel like I don’t know what’s going on in it. So what should I write about? First concept, Faction War. Who do we have? The Vanguard. Dead Orbit. Future War Cult. The Iron Banner. The Crucible. New Monarchy. Any person who you can earn Reputation from including Eris Morn & the Gunsmith. I would really leave out the Cryptarch because no one likes him anyway. 🙂
Yes, Guardians will choose a side & which ever Faction is best in battle gets control of the Tower, the Last City on Earth, all the captured posts in the Solar System. Everything. Including the secret stashes of Loot on the Dreadnaught. Hm. I guess I have the story figured out after all. I won’t be able to include video & screenshots of my gameplay this time around, of course.
So, what do you guys think? 26 Episodes? More likely, I’ll let the Story play itself out.
I miss you, Guardians.
